Data center and critical infrastructure MEP in Saudi Arabia
Cooling, electrical infrastructure, controls and fire protection coordinated for facilities where continuity of operation matters.
A data center is judged by its uptime. Cooling, power distribution, controls and fire protection all depend on each other, so the interfaces between them are where risk concentrates, and where good coordination pays off most.
SIC, the Saudi contracting company of LEES Engineering Group, coordinates these services to the defined project scope. BIM coordination, installation, technical review and commissioning support are organised under one programme from our Riyadh headquarters.

Data center scope
- 01
Cooling
Chilled-water systems, ventilation and the associated ductwork and piping, coordinated with the electrical and controls scope.
- 02
Electrical infrastructure
High-, medium- and low-voltage systems as required by scope, with transformers, generators and lighting.
- 03
Fire protection
Sprinkler networks, clean-agent suppression and fire detection aligned with applicable project requirements.
- 04
Controls and monitoring
Building management systems, monitoring interfaces and coordination between building services.
- 05
BIM coordination
LOD 300–500 models, BIM 360 coordination and multidisciplinary clash detection to project requirements.
- 06
Handover documentation
Shop drawings, as-built records and coordinated documentation that supports installation, verification and operation.
How we deliver critical infrastructure
- 01
Review the design
Design reviews against the applicable project requirements, so issues are found before installation.
- 02
Coordinate the interfaces
Cooling, electrical, controls and fire protection are modelled together so clashes are resolved on screen.
- 03
Commission and hand over
Commissioning support and documented system records give the operator a verified starting point.
Technical assurance
Design reviews, facility audits and commissioning support are carried out against the requirements defined for the project, and handover documentation supports installation, verification and operation.
Critical infrastructure experience
Our Saudi references include MEP coordination, technical reviews and commissioning support for data centers and critical infrastructure, alongside KAFD, where we produced MEP shop drawings for four towers and as-built documentation for eight buildings.
Questions we are asked
Do you work on data center projects in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We provide MEP coordination, technical reviews and commissioning support for data centers and other critical infrastructure.
What does technical assurance cover?
Design reviews, facility audits and commissioning support against the requirements defined for the project, so problems are found before they affect operation.
Do you coordinate fire protection with cooling and power?
Yes. Fire detection, sprinklers and clean-agent suppression are coordinated with the cooling, electrical and controls scope through BIM.
How do I request a quotation?
Send the scope, location and target schedule through the contact page or to info@sic-gcc.com, or call +966 54 854 4814. We respond with a coordinated approach for the project.
